We are deeply concerned about ACTA and what it means to New Zealand. New Zealanders have already fought off the draconian provisions in the Copyright Act (section 92a) that would allow the content industry to have people’s Internet cut off without giving them any chance to defend themselves, and ACTA just seems to be an attempt to re-enact that as well as including many other worrying provisions.
